Khairy Jamaludin, the MP for Rembau considers the move to block access to the website, Malaysia-today by Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission as "violating the principle of openness and transparency" and "inconsistent with the widening of democratic space".Ironically, Khairy had to use the example of the very website which he alleges had "deliberately destroyed my character" to defend the principle of freedom of internet expression.
Should freedom of expression on the internet be absolute or restricted?
